About Home Cooked
Home Cooked aims to provide hand therapists a digital tool so they may effectively monitor their patients' treatment without having to be physically present in the hospital.
Parallel to this, the game was designed to make the recovery process for patients with hand injuries exciting and enjoyable.

What have I worked on?
I mostly took care of the core programming of the game's mechanics as well as setting up and optimizing the VR project. I also helped with level design, playtesting, researching the target audience and sketches.
More than that, I have also used the Agile methods of working (Scrum boards, daily stand ups, sprints, etc.).
My responsabilities include:
PROGRAMMING
- Complete the gameplay, core system tasks and core programming.
- Writing and maintaining engine plugins and external tools with the team to ensure productivity.
- Setting up & optimizing the VR project.
- Setting up the main menu.
- Shader graphs (liquid materials, skybox).
- Experiment with different VR settings.
- Use Oculus hand tracking entirely.
- Program mechanics which are gamified medical exercises.
- In-game visual debugger.
- Store the player's data (saving system):
- Fingers, wrist, palm, etc. position and angle;
- Number and names of effectively followed and executed exercises.
UX/UI
- Implement and designed in-game UI.
- Research plan.
- User stories.
- User testing sessions.
- Expert, user & stakeholder interviews conducted and planned.
- Pilot testing the interview.
ARTIST AND LEVEL DESIGNER
- Worked on 3D models and 2D arts.
- Textured 3D models.
- Worked on the environmental decor.
- Lighting system.
- Created puzzle and level designs for numeorus parts of the game.
- Post-processing effects.
- Shader graphs.
- Posters & flyers.
SCRUM MASTER
- Organized the team using AGILE working methods.
